Driver killed in head-on collision with lorry
A DRIVER was killed in a head-on collision with a lorry on the A37.
The man was driving a green Ford Fiesta from the Chelwood roundabout south towards Clutton when the crash happened at about 2pm yesterday. Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Catherine Foster said the two vehicles collided head-on on a bend.
The driver died at the scene, she said.
The road was closed for more than three hours afterwards as officers carried out an investigation into the crash.
