Driver arrested after man killed in hit-and-run on Frenchay Park Road
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving - after a man in his 70s was killed in a hit-and-run this morning.
The 24-year-old is currently in custody and police have seized a vehicle.

The victim died at Frenchay Hospital after being hit on Frenchay Park Road - close to the hospital - shortly after 7am.
Avon and Somerset spokesman Martin Dunscombe said: “We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the police on 101.”
