Drink beer and raise money for charity
Real ale fans will be able to sample a range of brews at a Bristol pub and help raise cash for a cancer charity.
The two-day beer festival at the Old Stillage in Redfield will feature ales from 13 breweries within a 25-mile radius. Some of them will make one-off beers for the occasion, with members of the Campaign for Real Ale taking part in a blind tasting competition.
The festival on Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5, has been organised in support of Myeloma UK, a charity that provides information and support to people affected by the bone marrow cancer and works to improve treatment, care and awareness of the disease.
The breweries will each donate a cask of ale for the event, which starts at 4pm on the Friday and will run all of the following day, with live music from a jazz band.
Beers will be supplied by breweries Arbor Ales, Art Brew, Isle of Avalon, Bristol Beer Factory, Butcombe, Cotswold Spring, Great Western, Milk Street, Nailsworth, Plain Ales, RCH, Severn Vale and Stroud.
The pub is in Church Road and tickets can be bought on the door.
