Draper proves an equal match for Adams
BRISTOL darts ace Matt Draper has recently returned from the British Pentathlon, where he drew his match with three-time world champion Martin 'Wolfie' Adams.
Draper, who qualified for the 2010 UK Open, booked his spot at the 37th Pentathlon – a tournament which has previously been won by Phil Taylor, Eric Bristow and John Lowe – after winning the Bristol League of Experts competition.
He drew 15 of his 19 games 1-1, won two of them and lost the other two. In his match against Adams, the Bristolian had two darts at double to win.
The tournament was eventually won by Norwegian Robert Wagner, with Adams finishing runner-up.
