Downton Abbey stars show off different sides in Bristol
STARS of Downton Abbey are set to descend on Bristol in two musical events.
Fans of the hit ITV drama won't have to wait until the Christmas special to get their next fix of life at the great country estate.
After series three ends, Brendan Coyle, who plays Mr Bates, and Elizabeth McGovern, who plays Lady Grantham, both pictured, are set to appear at St George's Bristol in two very different shows.
Later this month, on November 23, Mr Coyle takes on the role of composer Claude Debussy for an evening of words and music, celebrating the life and loves of the great musician. Accompanied by pianist Lucy Parham, Mr Coyle recounts Debussy's entangled love affairs, occasional brushes with death and other real-life dramas that inspired the composer's music.

Next year, on February 10, American actress Ms McGovern will replace the fineries of her Downton wardrobe with something far more "rock chick" as she brings her band Sadie and the Hotheads to Bristol.
