Worcester City 0 Dorchester Town 0: Dorchester carved out 16 attempts on goal, twice as many as their hosts, but had to settle for a draw.

The home side actually came closest to taking the three points when striker Marco Adaggio cut in from the left wing in the 17th minute and beat two defenders, before chipping a shot from an acute angle against the underside of the crossbar.

A City goal would have been tough justice for the Magpies who dominated large parts of the match. Full-back Gary Bowles forced an early diving save from Worcester goalkeeper Danny McDonnell, while Mitch Nicolson, Mark Jermyn and Jacob Erskine all sent efforts wide. McDonnell also saved a Nick Crittenden free-kick and a far-post header from Kevin Hill.

Adaggio came close to making Dorchester pay for their wastefulness again, when he shot straight at Magpies keeper Gareth Stewart.

In the second half, Phil Walsh headed wide for Dorchester and Matt Dodd headed over for City from six yards out, before Ashley Vickers had two chances to break the deadlock with stoppage-time headers but saw one deflected for a corner and the other go over the crossbar.
