Don't give thieves a free ride
POLICE are urging cyclists to be more security savvy after a recent increase in thefts in the Redcliffe area.
Beat manager PC Nick King said: "Always lock your bike to something secure and anchored to the ground – ideally a bike stand. Never leave your bike unlocked and try to avoid leaving it unattended overnight.
"We will continue to work alongside on-site security in covert operations and will continue to direct patrols in the area."
