Don't be too shy to ask for a pay rise
A WORKSHOP to help women gain confidence in the workplace will take place in St Paul's this weekend.
The one-day confidence coaching course costs £70 and will run at The Pierian Centre, in Portland Square, on Saturday.
It has been organised by Brainbox Coaching with the aim of helping women assert themselves, ask for promotion and pay rises or deal with challenging colleagues.
Coach Tracy Johnson said: "If you feel that you are not achieving your potential in the workplace, or lack the confidence and self-belief to put yourself forward when it counts, then this workshop is for you."
Style coach Claire Jones will also offer advice on self-image.
Email tracy@brainboxcoaching.co.uk to book.

“Must't use the M-word, James.
As far as the media are concerned the population is divided into "persons" and "women"...”

“Is this not rather sexist? Women would be the first to complain if there was a "men only" workshop to help gain confidence in the workplace.
"Style coach Claire Jones will also offer advice on self-image." - in other words, they'll be told to doll themselves up to look more pretty before asking for a pay rise?”
