Avon Youth League: Dom Haugh-Stewart sprung to the rescue for Bristol Rovers Supporters as they were held to a 1-1 away draw by St Vallier in Under-15 Division I.

Rovers enjoyed plenty of early possession but failed to take advantage of two great chances and paid the price when Vallier opened the scoring five minutes into the second half.

Rovers responded well by pegging back their opponents for long periods and, with 15 minutes remaining, their pressure earned them a penalty, which was coolly slotted home by Haugh-Stewart.

Further chances fell to Tom Shopland, Ben Cush, Jordan Headley and Haugh-Stewart but Rovers were unable to force a winner.

Rockleaze Rangers hit back from the shock of going a goal down to beat visitors Oldland Abbotonians A 4-1 in Under-15 Division III.

Having squandered two chances in the opening minutes, Rockleaze found themselves a goal behind when Louis Talbot finished powerfully from the edge of the box.

Rangers dominated large spells of the first half but struggled to create many clear-cut opportunities against a determined Oldland side. And, when they did, visiting keeper Jamie Dixon pulled off some fine saves.

The pressure eventually told as Rockleaze turned the game around with quickfire goals from George Harris (2) and Ricky Wilson just before the break.

With keeper Nick Adams dominating his area, Harry O'Conor and Joe Brooks assured in the centre of defence and man-of-the-match Jonny Stubbs providing good support to Harris down the left flank, the home side were more effective in the second half.

Playmaker Jonny Bradbeer was unlucky when his left-footed chip clipped the crossbar and Jordan Lindo fired just wide but Rockleaze were only able to add one more goal, from Wilson.
