Dog jury deliberates
THE jury in the case of a man accused of setting a fighting dog on a police officer continue to consider their verdict. Kevin Sheppard is accused of letting a pitbull attack PC Gemma Pinkard. The 48-year-old of Derwent Road, Speedwell, denied intending to cause grievous bodily harm in the incident in November. The Bristol Crown Court jury retired on Friday and will resume deliberations today.
