Developer wins fight to build on Bristol greenfield site
A developer has won permission to build 220 homes plus offices and a shop on a greenfield site in Frampton Cotterell on appeal.
A South Gloucestershire Council planning committee turned down the Barratt's application to build the new estate, called 'Windmill Green', last December, saying it would have an unacceptable impact on the landscape and infrastructure.
But councillors said last night that a planning inspector has allowed the developer's appeal, overturning the council's decision.
