Collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century modern design are expected to flock to the Paintworks on Sunday.

The Totterdown venue is hosting The Midcentury Show, which will feature furniture, collectable items and design classics from the middle of the last century.

Items for sale at the design fair will include toys, furniture and clothes, all with a modernist feel.

Well-known names in the design world, such as Vitra, will be displaying wares alongside young designers and shops such as cut and sew brand Clothkits, Nine to Nine furniture design from Spain and children's design shop Thorsten van Elten.

The Midcentury Show takes place at the Paintworks, Bath Road, on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Entrance is £5 for adults and free for under 14s. There is free parking and the Bocabar Cafe will be open.
