Hellenic League round-up

Winterbourne United went down 3-0 at Lydney Town and remain third from bottom in Division One West of the Hellenic League.

Sam Vile went close to giving Winterbourne the lead in the first half from a Scott Cameron cross, before Lydney went in front on the stroke of half-time through Adam Price.

James Mainstone failed to hit the target as Winterbourne pressed at the start of the second half and, with the visitors pushing forward looking for an equaliser, Lydney struck on the counter-attack to clinch victory with a second goal five minutes from time.

James Munday then added a third goal late on.

Tytherington Rocks were unlucky not to take at least a point from their home game against Easington Sports, going down 1-0 to a late goal.

Dan Reeves netted the decider in the 75th minute.
