Debate on future use of pool site
A PUBLIC meeting will be held next week so residents in Bishopsworth can put forward their views about the future use of a swimming pool which closed last year.
A steering group to look at future options for the site has met regularly since last year.

It has organised a community workshop for next Saturday from 10am until noon at St Peter's church hall to find out the views of residents.
Councillor Richard Eddy, chairman of the group, said: "Bishopsworth Swimming Pool is a well-loved community asset and it is essential whatever takes its place should meet local needs and be at the heart of the neighbourhood.

“being a person who has been involved with several consultations by the council. the probable outcome has already been decided. council consultation is a joke, they know that nor many people will turn up because of the timing. its probaly arranged for some builder to build tiny flats there, this is the usual modus operandi of the council. dont be suprised when it happens. BCC have no interest what the people want, just how much BCC get for the land or 107 money.”
