Death at Bristol mental health home is being treated as murder, police confirm
The death of a man in Bristol over the weekend is being treated as murder, police have confirmed.
The man - who has been named as 32-year-old Gino Nelmes - was taken to hospital following an assault at a home for people with mental health needs in Filton Avenue, Horfield, at around 5pm on Saturday.

However, he later died as a result of blood loss, caused by multiple stab wounds.
A 46-year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards and remains in custody. He has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The property where the incident took place is registered to Keystone Mental Health Services, which provides accommodation and care to adults with mental health needs.
Police have confirmed the incident was isolated and self-contained but have been providing high profile patrols in the area to reassure local members of the community.
