Deaf Sports stun Rileys
Rileys Club A had a shock defeat in the Bristol & District Billiards League, going down 2-1 at home against Bristol Deaf Sports B.
This allowed Pot Black Club B to join them at the top of the table after they were awarded three points when their C team failed to send in the result of the match within 10 days.
Bristol Deaf B's winner was Mark Bennett (+100), who had a 42-point triumph over Frank Archer (+100).
It gave his team a fine victory after team-mate Alex Davis (+80) lost by 19 points to Mahmoud Alzaid (-50), which was his eighth win from 10 matches.
