Mike Davis has taken over as manager of Cinderford Town following the departure of Lee Relish and will be in charge for Saturday's home game against Taunton Town.

Davis, formerly assistant manager to Steve Cotterill and Graham Allner at Cheltenham Town, has put in seven days' notice to Bishop's Cleeve for son Lee, and will name the same squad that won 3-2 at Slough in midweek.

Tauntonmanager Ian Jones believes his side can take something from today's game despite a long list of absentees.

Central defender Owen Irish, midfielder Luke Cole and striker Twain Plummer is still recovering from injuries in a car accident, while reserve goalkeeper Simon Cooper has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a knee operation.

Paulton Rovers manager Andy Jones has extended the loan deal of Tiverton Town striker Tom Knighton for a further month.
