Date for second postal strike in Bristol is announced
Staff at a Royal Mail depot that serves large parts of south and east Bristol could strike again on December 17.
This would be the second strike in the run-up to Christmas by people who work at the depot in Mead Street.
It would involve around 100 postal wokers who normally deliver to the BS4 and BS14 areas of Bristol, which includes Knowle, Knowle West, Brislington, Stockwood and Whitchurch,
Officials from the Communication Workers Union (CWU) are due to meet Royal Mail managers at ACAS in London at 1pm on Wednesday in last ditch talks to avoid this strike.

Bristol Area Official David Wilshire said "The fact the meeting is going ahead is a positive".

The first strike, which came after a row over staffing levels and changes to postal delivery routes, was on Monday.
