The Bristolian has five events left in which to salvage a place in the £250,000 tournament in Minehead – which kicks-off on November 30 – beginning with this weekend's Dutch Masters event in Nuland.
Brown opens his campaign at the Van der Valk Hotel against Dutchman Dick van Dijk, before a potential second-round clash with Wes Newton or Jyhan Artut.

Brown is £6,200 off the final qualifying spot for the Players Championship Finals, but victory over Van Dijk would guarantee him at least £1,000, with this weekend's overall winner taking £15,000, the runner-up £7,500 and semi-finalists £5,000.
He said: "The way I'm playing, practice-wise and in Super League locally, is the best I've ever played – but the results have just not been coming for me on the (professional) circuit.
"I need a decent run this weekend to put myself right back in the mix for Minehead, but then I wouldn't surprise myself if I did have a good run in Holland."
Brown, who admits to having had "a frustrating year" on the Professional Darts Corporation's Pro Tour, will have further opportunities to qualify for Minehead in Crawley (November 3-4) and Barnsley (November 24-25).
