Marshfield civil engineering contractor Mike Church is best known for his involvement in motocross, but he has also turned his attention to road racing and Bristol's Daniel Kift will be riding his MJ Church Plant Hire Honda in the Allcomers 1300cc event at Castle Combe.

His main rival should be Radstock Ducati rider Rob Jones, who is also competing in the two four-stroke "Sound of Thunder" races.

Practice gets under way at 8.45am with the first of five races prior to the interval, and the Pastmasters Parade at 11.05am. There are nine more events starting at 13.40pm. Admission is £12 for adults and £6 for OAPs, while children under 16 can go in free.

Sunday: Cornwall Centre ACU National Inter Centre Team Trial, adult solos and sidecars, Rosewall Hill, St Ives (10am); Dartmoor MCC ACU Motocross, Cutwellcombe Farm, Wrangaton, near South Brent (10.30am); Somerton Classic MCC Trial, Emborough Ponds, near Chilcompton, Somerset (11am).
