A TEAM of cyclists from the Lloyds Banking Group rode from Taunton to Bristol to raise money for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal.

About 200 staff from LDC, the bank's private equity arm, donned their Lycra and jumped into the saddle as part of a 15-day charity cycle relay from Land's End to John O'Groats.

Some donned pink tutus for the challenge, and Sophie Reed and Michael Renwick even dressed as the Wallace and Gromit characters for the ride.

The cyclists have raised £2,940 from Monday's Taunton to Bristol leg of the relay so far, all of which will go to the Grand Appeal, the only charity that raises funds exclusively for Bristol Children's Hospital and St Michael's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The team rode to Reading yesterday and are heading to Birmingham today. To donate, visit www.ldclessordinary.co.uk or www.grandappeal.org.uk.
