“If cyclists are so ruddy vunerable, why don't they get off their annoying, car dodging, light jumping, no entry entering, rules of the road ignoring bikes and get cars!”

“Reanne, can I please borrow your crystal ball, as you seem to have all the details of the accident that noone else has privvy to.
Also none can apportion blame, as we don't know what happened?!
Who evers fault it was, he only had minor cuts and bruises, (thankfully) so don't really think this is exactly headline news! Just another attempt by BEP to start the car/bike row, again!!”

“Oh please reg! it was a HIT AND RUN!!! which means the driver hit the man off his bike and ummmm well DROVE OFF!!!! The driver didn't even have the decensy to check the man was ok! Have you ever lost someone from incompetant drivers hitting a vunerable biker?? well i have, but in my case it was FATAL! and the man who hit him i suspect didn't give a toss as he had no insurance anyway and shouldnt of been driving! So how could the driver know the the 40 year old man he hit was even ok?? Huh?? Think first love!!”

“Reg, you've only got an O-level in reading ;-)
    I've got a life-experience-level in "reading between the lines" . :-)
That's stood me in very good stead in life, so far, which is why my first comment was written as it was :D”

    “In answer to Reg, (below).
The cyclist was riding a black "Racing Bike". To do that on the roads you "have" to be competent..
The driver of the car involved was driving a Mercedes, which didn't stop !!
No translation required. Nuff said !!”
