Cyclist dies from Bristol road crash injuries

This is Bristol

A cyclist has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Bristol.

The crash happened at the junction of Batten Road and Hillside Road in St George.

Police said they believed the cyclist emerged without warning from Batten Road and was hit by a Vauxhall Astra travelling along Hillside Road.

It happend at about 6pm on October 24, but the cyclist died in Frenchay Hospital yesterday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bristol police collision investigation unit on 0845 4567000.
