ENGLISH Kings of old were buried with a crown and a sword. King Richard III was defeated by Henry Tudor at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485.

His remains which were recently found in a car park will be buried at Leicester Cathedral next year.

It is only right that a crown and a sword should be placed in his tomb with those famous words "My Kingdom for a horse".
