I have campaigned for such a long time to get an island on the death trap pedestrian crossing in the Henleaze Road by Boots the Chemist but to no avail. Now I know why and where potential funds are being wasted. Remember the ludicrous "city beach" not so long ago?

Wake up councillors before there's a fatal accident to perhaps one of yourselves caused by a tunnel- visioned, arrogant road-speedster.
