Craig battles through the pain barrier
Western Cyclocross League rider Craig Denning (Dream CC) took part in the Cyclocross Masters World Championships held in Belgium at the weekend.
Denning, who raced despite breaking two ribs in a crash while practising on the course in Mol, finished 24th in the youngest age group – for riders aged 30 to 34.

He said: "It's great to race in Belgium. It was a good course with a demanding beachy stretch and I was fairly pleased with my performance."
Fellow Dream CC rider Richard Miller finished 45th in the 35 to 39 age group at Saturday's event, in which there were a number of age categories, up to one for riders aged 70-plus.
Britain's elite riders take part in the World Cyclo-Cross Championships at Hoogerheide, Holland, this weekend.
Any cyclists who would like to get out on the road this weekend has a choice of rides with Cycle Bristol CTC.
On Sunday, the group is holding a 20-mile morning run to Chew Valley, starting at Clifton Suspension Bridge at 9am.
For those who want to get a few more miles in, there is 55-mile all-day ride to Chippenham, starting at 9.30am from Page Park, Staple Hill.
On Monday, a gentle 15-mile ride is being held, starting from Bitton Station at 9.30am.
