Country waits and watches
If this is to be a defining summer for Somerset wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter, he has made a good start.
The 21-year-old smashed 150 not out in last week's drawn LV County Championship match with Warwickshire at Taunton – and followed it up with an unbeaten 138 in Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy victory over the same opposition.
Born in South Africa, Kieswetter becomes eligible to play for England from next year. And if he continues to hit big scores, his often-criticised wicketkeeping will come under increasing scrutiny.
How he reacts when it is being closely monitored will tell us whether he is the answer to one of England's problem positions.
