Bristol City Council boss to retire
BRISTOL City Council's interim chief executive Graham Sims will step down in March, it has been confirmed.
The council has announced that Mr Sims, who took over from Jan Ormondroyd when she retired last August, would spend his final day at work on March 15. He joined the authority as a trainee environmental health officer more than 36 years ago.
Mayor George Ferguson, who has already said he will not appoint a new permanent chief executive, described Mr Sims as one of the city's "most passionate advocates and champions".
