Cornish hits a hat-trick as holders go through
MARK Cornish hit a hat-trick as Norman Hardy Cup winners St Andrews hammered Hare on the Hill 7-2. Jamie Hough and Donald Clements replied for Hare.
Clifton St Vincents beat Retainers 1-0 with an 85th-minute strike from Matt Pynn.
Retainers Reserves also went out. They led Cabot AF 2-0 thanks to Shane Packer's double but Cabot recovered to win 3-2 with three goals in the last 10 minutes. Dave Southwood and an own goal pulled the score level and Steve Ward hit Cabot's winner.
Joe Weir (2), Steve Keys and an own goal gave Clifton Rockets a 4-0 victory over Luccombe Garage, while Lawes Juniors beat Cotswool 2-1 thanks to Dave Corlett and Ed Grinbergs, who had earlier missed a penalty. Eddie Troughton replied for Cotswool.
Mark Robson, Paul Tulip, Rich Sargent and an own goal gave Sneyd Park a 4-2 victory over Bohemia, and Portland Old Boys crushed Bohemia Reserves 5-0. Ben Golledge (2), Phil Lackie, Martin Runacres and an own did the trick for Portland.
Sheena Olabi's double gave Torpedo Reserves a 2-1 win against Tebby AFC, while Saints Old Boys hammered Hydez FC 6-1 thanks to Matt Horan (3), Jamie Hill (2) and Nick Bull.
In the All Saints Cup, Portland Old Boys Reserves had Joe Lydiard (2) and Cliff Lune on target in the 3-1 win against Clifton St Vincents B.
Four-goal John Ho led the way as Bristol Barcelona Reserves crushed Conham Rangers 12-1, while Matt Hildrew (3), Jim Ball and Dave Keating scored for Sneyd Park A, 5-1 winners against Vittoria Inn.
Tom Coorman and Jamie Davey each scored twice as Sneyd Park B beat Cotham Old Boys 4-2 and TM Lion Reserves overcame Evergreen 6-2 thanks to goals from Alex Parsons (2), Seb Stryski (2), Larry Stevenson and Ed Parsons.
Wellington Wanderers beat Torpedo A 4-2 on penalties after a 5-5 extra-time draw. Simon Jones (2), Ed Sutor (2) and John Vaker netted for Torpedo.
Ross Fanyanka and Pedro Vasconzalez both hit doubles in Jersey Rangers' 5-3 win against Retainers A.
In Division I, Ashley beat Torpedo 2-1 to move up to fourth place thanks to Mike Chapple and Brett Eamer. Mike Stubbs scored for Torpedo.
Carlos Alanza Fernandes and Martyn Stanleigh earned Clifton St Vincents Reserves a 2-2 draw with TM Lion in Division II.
In Division III, Ashley Reserves crushed LA Cricketers 5-0, thanks to an Ian Cross strike and doubles from Paul Clements and Max Shepstone.
