Windsor & Eton 2 Paulton Rovers 1: Paulton Rovers were knocked out of the FA Trophy in controversial circumstances by a disputed goal in the final minute.

Windsor's Andrew Fagan headed a corner against the underside of the bar and the assistant referee awarded the goal despite protests from the visitors.

Paul Milsom, who took charge of Paulton on the day, said: "The players were sure the ball did not cross the goal-line and the Windsor manager came up to me after the game and said the ball had not crossed the line.

"We were robbed, but played well enough to have won the game despite being without three key players."

Despite playing against the strong wind in the first half, Paulton deservedly took the lead in the 33rd minute, when Josh Jefferies followed up to score after Robbie Claridge's original effort had been blocked.

Windsor equalised 10 minutes from time when a cross into the goalmouth struck Claridge and deflected into the net.

Then came the last-minute controversy when Fagan's header was given as a goal despite not appearing the have crossed the line.
