Zamaretto Southern League previews:

Clevedon Town manager Nick Tucker's side face struggling Merthyr Tydfil at home tonight and the boss is looking for his team to build on Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hemel Hempstead Town which lifted them out of the Premier Division relegation zone.

Tucker, pictured, should be well-briefed on Merthyr as his new coach, David Gough, was with the Welsh side up until Saturday's 3-2 home victory over Banbury United.

Second-from-bottom Merthyr were deducted 10 points at the start of the campaign for going into administration, while Clevedon have the chance to record back-to-back League victories.

Tucker added: " I feel we have turned the corner and confidence is returning to the side.

"We are looking for the platform for us to start climbing the table."

Tom Billings is unavailable, while the only other absentee is Chris Collins, who is still recovering from a knee operation. He is targeting a return in December.

Clevedon Town (from): Greaves, Brigham, Townley, Walsh, Molyneaux, Willmot, Evans, Loxton, Wring, Sheppard, Blakemore, Fisher, Jones.

● Mangotsfield United, who host Abingdon United tonight, will be looking to build on successive victories over Taunton Town and Thatcham Town which has taken them up to 17th in the South & West Division I table.

Goalkeeper Tony Court is unlikely to be fit, so youngster Sam Alexander will continue to deputise.

Danny Spill, who was taken off with a knee injury at Taunton, will have a late fitness test.

But central defender Mike Trought (groin) and Jack Allward (shoulder) have both been ruled out.
