Concerned neighbour's report leads to arrest
A MAN was arrested on suspicion of burglary after a concerned resident reported he had been acting suspiciously near an elderly neighbour's home.
Police have praised the resident for calling 999 when he spotted the man in Nutfield Grove, Filton, at 7.15pm on Wednesday.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in the area.
Neighbourhood Inspector Bob Evely said: "This resident did exactly the right thing by calling us. Our advice to anyone who sees anyone acting suspiciously is to call 999 if they think a crime is underway and a suspect still in the area."
