Comedian Justin Lee Collins harassment trial adjourned due to juror's illness
The trial of television comedian Justin Lee Collins was adjourned yesterday (Fri) due to a woman juror’s illness. Collins, 38 from Bristol, is accused of subjecting ex-girlfriend Anna Larke to a campaign of verbal and physical abuse during a nine-month relationship last year. The court had been due to hear evidence from Anna Larke’s mother Penelope, father Jeremy and brother Alexis. Collins, now living in Kew, south west London, denies a single charge of harassment by causing her fear of violence. The trial is expected to reconvene on Monday.
