BRADLEY Stoke is hosting a display of writing equipment this weekend.

The South West Pen Show will be held at the Hilton Hotel on Sunday, February 12.

The event has been held at the same hotel for the last three years, in the Redcliffe Suite.

Up to 30 of the top UK pen dealers will be there with a wide range of writing equipment on display.

The show will be on from 10am to 4pm. Entry to the show is £5 and doors open at 10am.

British manufacturer Onoto is launching two new pens for 2012 at the show, The Sir Winston Churchill Chartwell – a Churchill pen in sterling silver and 23ct gold.

And Onoto is recognising the 200th anniversary of one of the world's greatest authors by showing the first of four pens this year in the newly announced Charles Dickens collection.

UK Pen Shows host this and four other pen shows around the country.

Jeremy Collingridge and Ian Williamson, the two owners, are council members of the Writing Equipment Society.

Parking at the hotel, which has a full range of services, is free for the first two hours and £3 for the day.
