African music and dancing brightened up a miserable day at the Grange School and Sports College in Warmley.

The Iroko company visited the South Gloucestershire comprehensive to work with Year Nine students yesterday.

It was the latest in the wide-ranging Grange Goes Global programme, which has earned the school a second International School Award.

The school recently hosted Austrian students and teachers and will host a concert by a choir from Finland next week.

Yesterday, Kingswood MP Roger Berry officially opened its new International Business and Enterprise Centre.

International co-ordinator James Dale is going to London to collect the school's award from the Department for Children, Schools and Families and the British Council.
