Youngsters from Bristol Brunel Academy in Bristol will soon be more active after meeting representatives of up to 16 different clubs.

Clubs such as the West of England Schools Sailing Association, Bristol Storm Basketball Club and the Eternity Dance Academy promoted their sports at a roadshow at the Speedwell secondary school.

Geoff Davey, the academy's head of PE, said: "Promoting sporting opportunities is important part of getting young people to live a healthy lifestyle. If we can integrate physical activity into young people's lives now, they will be more likely to be physically active in later life."
