A new book full of striking images of the planet highlights the challenge posed by climate change.

Climate Change – Our Warming World is the latest in the Fragile Earth series, published by Sawday's in Long Ashton.

The book is written by Christina Hutchins, the founder of not-for-profit organisation Our World Foundation, which was established to raise awareness about climate change and gather support for its solutions.

In it she suggests that climate change is the greatest challenge facing humanity today, and that over the next 10 years we may reach a tipping point, after which there will be irreversible impacts to the planet.

The book, costing £12.99, will be published on November 1, to coincide with the upcoming Copenhagen climate change conference in December.
