On Saturday, goals from Fleur Horner, Sandra Frankland and Carla Dunnett ensured a 3-1 victory at Ipswich.

Then, in Sunday's rearranged game at a snowy Chelmsford, Clifton defeated their hosts 4-0 thanks to second-half goals from Tina Mash (2), Sandra Frankland and Liz Sinton.

Clifton play their first home match since the mid-season break on Saturday, when they host Slough at Coombe Dingle (1pm).

In National Conference West, Dominic Bowden was the hero for Firebrands when he scored with just 36 seconds left against visitors Cardiff/UWIC.

Firebrands visit Guildford on Sunday for their next match.

Firebrands Ladies, despite scoring in the first minute through Kate Smith, went down 2-1 at Rover Oxford. Firebrands host Swansea at Failand (1pm) this week.

In West Women's Premier I, Redland Ladies lost 7-1 against Bath, while Anne Bailey was on target as their second team drew 1-1 with Clevedon.

Goals from Becky Jones and Shelley Beurschgens gained Thornbury a 2-2 draw with BAC 2nds and goals from Sarah Stewart (2), Mel Joseph (2) and Annie Griffin gave Thornbury 2nds a 5-0 victory over Nailsea 2nds.

In N.4 Financial Solutions Premier I, Westbury/Utd Banks lost 5-2 against Isca. Johnny Parrish and Rich Hill scored the goals.

Tom Colquhoun was on target for the seconds in a 2-1 win over Cheltenham A. Richard Beesley, Nathan Walkey and James Pearce-Smith scored for Westbury/Utd Banks 3rds, who lost 5-3 to Wootton Bassett.
