Hockey action recommenced in a number of divisions in West Women's league and there were a few rearranged games in Davis Wood Men's league. Yate's men were 3-1 winners over Cheltenham in a feisty encounter.

Yate played some of the game with reduced numbers due to indiscipline. Matt Bethall, Jordan Reid and Darren Ashley scored for Yate.

In Premier One, Yate Ladies deservedly beat newly-promoted Lydney 3-1.

Stacey Andrews, Robyn Holah and Sally Ellis scored for Yate.

Three goals from Rebekah Harris and one from Jo Mackie earned Yate 2nds a 4-3 win over BAC in North Division.

A player-of-the-match performance from Sandy Masters helped Yate 3rds to a 1-0 victory over South Gloucs with Lucy Saunders scoring the winner. Wick 2nds achieved their first win of the season when they beat leaders Badminton 2-1 in Berkeley Division Three.

Captain Jen Clark was pleased with the win and the two goals scored by Abby Clark.

Charlotte Earnshaw was also prominent for the winners and shared player-of-the-match with the goal scorer.

Goals from Gill bailey, Tracey Jones, Zoe Barnett and an own goal earned Thornbury 2nds a 4-0 victory over leaders Westberries 3rds in Berkeley Two.
