Clevedon Town manager Wayne Powell called a meeting with his players after Thursday's training session in a bid to clear the air after a series of poor results have seen them slip down into the relegation zone.

Powell accused some of the players of showing no fight after Tuesday's 5-1 home defeat by Merthyr Tydfil, which followed on a 4-0 defeat at table topping Corby.

"There was a lot of input from both sides and I hope it will have sorted things out and we go out to show a different attitude and raise our game today," said Powell.

Clevedon are without skipper and central defender Chris Collins, who has a badly bruised instep.

Clevedon Town (from): Greaves, Driscoll, Bassett, Jenkins, Loxton, Peckham, Heal, Brigham, Powell, Burrow, Pearce, Harris, Adams, Sheppard, Leek, Hartland, Billings.

Yate Town goalkeeper Lee Matthews, who missed last Saturday's drawn game at Bedford Town with a stomach bug, has recovered and comes back into the squad for the home game against Brackley Town.

Marcus Mapstone and David Anyinsah are still not fit, and Jake Reid is serving the final game of a three match ban.

Darren Hawkins, who has missed the last couple of games with a groin injury, trained on Thursday evening and should be fit while there are fitness tests for Alex Stanley(groin), Lee Jefferies(knee) and Craig Davidge (knee).

Gloucester City face a tough home game against table-topping Corby Town, and manager David Mehew is waiting on late fitness tests for a number of key players before deciding on his line-up.

Matt Rose, who is suffering from flu, is rated as extremely doubtful, while skipper Neil Mustoe, Jack Harris and Lee Smith all have back problems, while Tom Hamblin also faces a late fitness test on a groin injury.

Gloucester City (from): Sawyer, Sysum, Hamblin, Richard, Marshall, Mustoe, Ballinger, Smith, Webb, Rose, J Harris, Sykes, Pitcher, Mawford, A Harris, Twyman, Nash, James.

Mangotsfield United are without skipper Alex Ball who has not recovered from the ankle injury he suffered in the midweek defeat at Gloucester. Defender Neil Arndale is also ruled out of the game at Banbury United with a groin strain.

There will be a fitness test for Geraint Bater, who has a foot injury, but new signing Matt Townley from Team Bath comes into the side.

Central defender Scott Hendy, who has been sent off for two bookable offences in Mangotsfield's last two games, starts a three-match ban on November 22. Striker Mitchell Page starts a one-match ban on the same date.
