Clevedon X Factor hopeful George Shelley survives sing-off
CLEVEDON'S X Factor contestant George Shelley survived a nail-biting sing-off to win through to another week on the reality talent show.
George and fellow members of boyband Union J had to sing for their future on the ITV1 contest's fourth results show tonight.

They ended up in the bottom two after a public vote based on performances from yesterday's show, which meant that either they or fellow contestant Jade Ellis would be eliminated.
Union J chose to perform US singer Pink's Perfect, while Ellis performed Dido's White Flag.

And with the decision on who would stay on the series placed in their hands, three of the four celebrity judges backed 19-year-old George and his bandmates.
Only Tulisa Contostavlos, who had been Ellis' mentor in the series, voted against Union J.
Tearful Louis Walsh, who is Union J's mentor, was joined by Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow in voting to keep the band on the show.
Barlow told Union J that while their performances so far had not been exceptional, he could see the commitment and "the ambition in your eyes".
