Clevedon Town boss Nick Tucker is looking to strengthen his forward line, so has taken former Haverfordwest striker Billy Vaughan on a month's trial.

Tucker knows Vaughan from his days managing in Wales, but the 19-year-old has recently re-located to Bristol and was keen to link up with Tucker.

"We will have a look at him and see how it goes," said Tucker. "We also have Gary Coombs, a former midfielder at Cardiff City and Welsh Premier League side Carmarthen, with us for a month and he is very keen."

Clevedon open their pre-season friendly programme with the visit of Maesteg Park to the Hand Stadium tomorrow (3pm).
