Brackley Town 2 Clevedon Town 1: Clevedon Town's fourth successive league defeat means they have slipped into the bottom four of the Southern League Division One South and West table.

The visitors came under pressure from the start, with Brackley's Tom Winters and Jamie Gould dangerous.

Clevedon's only opportunity in the opening 45 minutes fell to Josh Brigham, but he could not score either.

Brackley deservedly took the lead in the 63rd minute when Elliott Sandy broke the offside trap and beat Danny Greaves with a powerful shot.

The home side made it 2-0 eight minutes later, when Mark Rawle turned on the edge of the penalty area and beat Greaves in style.

Clevedon fought their way back into the game in the 82nd minute when Lee Molyneux crashed the ball home from close range following a corner.

Encouraged by this, Clevedon kept the pressure up, but were unable to find a way through the Brackley defence to get an equaliser, although substitute Aaron Blakemore did go close at the death.
