After their first win of the season, Clevedon Town manager Nick Tucker believes his players are now relishing the chance to take on Premier Division title favourites Farnborough Town.

"It is a huge challenge because Farnborough are the Chelsea or the new Man City of the Southern League," said Tucker.

"Their budget is probably four times bigger than ours and the best in the division and, while money isn't everything, they are also a very good side.

"But I'm sure they are not unbeatable, and with Tuesday's win over Stourbridge out of the way, the players are looking forward to it and also taking on current leaders Chippenham Town on Monday.

"I think if we hadn't got that first win on Tuesday then there would have been a lot of extra pressure on the players, but that is now out of the way and we can build on it."

Pete Sheppard, Joey Evans, Ben Evans and Tom Billings were all on target on Tuesday, with Billings and new signing Aaron Blakemore showing signs of forming a dangerous partnership.

"They have gelled well together and the partnership looks very promising," added Tucker.

Craig Loxton, who has made a solid opening to the season, starts a three-game ban, while Jamal Easter will have a fitness test on an injured hamstring.
