CLEVEDON TOWN 1 BANBURY UNITED 2: Despite taking a first-half lead, Clevedon conceded two second-half goals in a four-minute spell to suffer a disappointing defeat.

The visitors started well, Joe Coleman sending a header just over the bar, while Danny Greaves in the Clevedon goal did well to keep out a good shot from former Yeovil player Howard Forinton.

Aaron Blakemore twice went close to putting the home side ahead before he collected a good ball from Sean Seavill and shot home in the 22nd minute, his fourth goal of the season.

The Clevedon striker was denied a second goal seven minutes before half- time when his shot was saved by Banbury goalkeeper Joe Murrell.

The visitors had a goal disallowed early in the second period, but they drew level through Declan Benjamin in the 68th minute.

Four minutes later, Banbury went ahead when a cross from Coleman was turned into his own net by Callum Fisher.

Forinton almost added a third goal for Banbury late on.
