Clevedon Town and Yate Town clash at The Hand Stadium tonight in a game that could decide which division of the Southern League the clubs will be playing in next season.

Both clubs are involved in a Premier Division relegation battle.

Clevedon were boosted by a 5-3 victory at Halesowen Town on Saturday which put them five points clear of second-from-bottom Yate, who slumped to a 4-2 home defeat against Stourbridge.

Victory for Clevedon would see them to go into their final game on Saturday – at home to Oxford City – with the chance to overhaul fellow strugglers Rugby Town and Banbury United. Clevedon boss Nick Tucker said: "It's a massive game for both clubs.

"We are looking to win our final two games of the season, which would give us a absolutely fantastic chance of avoiding relegation."

Tucker has named the same squad which was on duty at Halesowen as they are still without Chris Collins, Sam Jones and Josh Brigham.

Yate are without midfielder Joe White, who has finished his three-month loan spell from Bristol Rovers.

Defender Aaron Robbins is suspended, but former Cinderford Town player Jason Price is set to make his debut for the side.

Clevedon Town (from): Greaves, Evans, Walsh, Molyneaux, Peckham, Loxton, Bassett, Wring, Billing, Easter, Sheppard, Small, Small, Ferrier, West.

Yate Town (from): Matthews, Metitiri, Vahid, Ward, Brice, Price, Lacey, Duggan, Reid, Griffiths, Whittington, Wood, Blakemore, Simmons, Yeo, Beadle, Dempsey.
