City centre pub to get £150,000 facelift
A LANDMARK Bristol pub is undergoing a £150,000 major refurbishment next month.
The Bay Horse pub on Lewins Mead, will close on the evening of Saturday, February 9 for the facelift and will reopen on Friday,February 15.
The Spirit Pub Company, which owns and manages the Bay Horse, will be investing in the pub's internal and external look and feel; updating the décor, bringing in additional furniture, and refreshing the food and drink offer.
Chris Turbitt, general manager at the Bay Horse, said: "The pub is ready for a makeover and with this substantial investment our guests will really see a difference when we reopen."

"Stay away its a rowdy pub for drunken chavs. The sort of pub full of plebs who the bouncers wouldn't let into the clubs and ended up going here instead as it will let anyone in. By no means the safest pub around either."”
