AFC Hayes 4 Cirencester Tn 3: Cirencester Town have sunk close to the relegation zone after a 4-3 defeat at AFC Hayes in the Southern League Divison One South & West.

The visitors were three goals adrift inside the first 25 minutes after strikes from Nick Turner, Ross Ahir and Gilbert Nuako.

Scott Griffin pulled a goal back from the penalty spot just before the break, and soon afterwards he got his second. On 86 minutes, Griffin's cross was finished off by Matt Williams to bring the sides level.

Cirencester looked to have salvaged at least a point until disaster struck a minute from time. Nuako went down after what seemed an innocuous challenge from Matt Sysum and although Paul Thompson saved Dean Pali's spot-kick, the Hayes player followed up to net the rebound.
