Cider festival returns to Bristol's Brunel Passenger Shed this weekend
A POPULAR cider festival is to return to the Brunel Passenger Shed at Temple Meads this weekend.
More than 100 ciders and perries will be on offer, including award-winning ciders from across the West Country and Wales. There will also be hog roast rolls and cheese platters, and soft drinks for drivers.

The festival will also offer the best in local entertainment, including Wurzels tribute band The Mangledwurzels. The band's singer Hedge Cutter, pictured, said: "We have done several of these festivals and we never tire of them.
"Imagine more than 1,000 cider drinkers dancing around and singing along to Drink Up Thy Cider and I Can Drive A Tractor – and you get an idea of how crazy these events are."
Festival organiser Chris Lilley adds: "The festivals have proved a huge success. Last year, all evening sessions sold out, so I would urge anyone planning to come along to get their tickets in advance."
The eighth Bristol Cider Festival takes place on Friday, from 7.30pm to 11pm, and Saturday, from 11am to 4pm and 7.30pm to 11pm, at the Brunel Passenger Shed, Station Approach, Temple Meads, Bristol.
Tickets for all sessions are £7 in advance or £8 on the door. They are on sale now at clstickets.co.uk or on 01225 330304.
