People are being urged to sign up to a programme of community courses at Backwell School.

The evening courses include art and creative writing as well as upcycling fabrics, which teaches people how to turn pieces of material into items such as wall hangings, cushions and jewellery.

There is also a "Christmas all sewn up" course, where people can personalise festive stockings and make advent calendars, as well as decorations and cards.
